Who are we?

In 1995, Hielke Dijkstra gave up a teaching career in automotive engineering to start his own company. Hielke wanted more technology, R&D, innovation, development and especially collaboration. TRiOS was born. The company started out with an attic as office space, a garage as a workshop and a client who had faith. Since then, TRiOS has become a major player in the world of precision engineering. The jury report for the DISC Award 2016 for Best Knowledge Supplier praises TRiOS for its “innovations that are unique in the world and its excellent relationships with clients.”

The human factor

TRiOS has developed its own methodology to resolve clients’ issues. This methodology is characterised by close collaboration with clients and a high degree of confidentiality. It results in long-term partnerships for strategic R&D projects.
